I work at both the structural and sentence level—strengthening the argument, organization, narrative, pacing, clarity, and flow while preserving the voice and authority of the writing.

Manuscript Critique

A comprehensive editorial assessment for writers who want to revise their own work.

For complete book manuscripts, collections of essays, and other substantial projects. I’ll read the full draft and identify structural problems, gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities to strengthen the work—then give you clear priorities for revision.

Includes: Full-project read + detailed editorial letter.

Best for: Writers who want an experienced outside perspective but plan to do the rewriting themselves.

Developmental & Line Editing

Hands-on editing to strengthen both the big picture and the writing itself.

For projects that need more than an assessment. I work with you through focused rounds of developmental and/or line editing to strengthen structure, argument, pacing, clarity, voice, and sentence-level writing.

Includes: Collaborative editing tailored to the needs of your project.

Best for: Writers preparing a book, essay, article, or other substantial work for publication.
